I've been on xbox live about 2 years and i've met one person who I regulary play with and can actually call a friend. I just cant seem to find anyone thats on the same wave length as me. PC players are generally more intelligent. People that fall into catergories like casual players (noobs), retards, greifers, annoying little kids. They're mostly a generation of unsociable teenagers which I dont relate to or want to associate with. With console players, its the complete contrast.
When I was gaming online on the PC about 10 years ago, I found that the majority of people were friendly, finding games and being a part of a team was easier and matchmaking was a hell of alot better. Unless you organise events or games on forums like this then you have no hope of consistantly having a good time and even then, the games flaws will get in your way. Console gaming for the most part is just terrible. Xbox live is good for the exclusives, DLC's, demo's and a handful of decent arcade games but thats where the positives end. No, I wasn't banned before you suggest it, lol. Its good news but its not enough, i've cancelled my xbox live subscription.
